Note: The newsletter was discontinued from 2000 to 2024 (Volumes 20-44 treated as gap years). The publication was relaunched in 2025 with Volume 45, continuing the series from the original 19 volumes published till 1999.
About the Newsletter
Publication Details
The U.P.L.A. Newsletter is a quarterly publication of the Uttar Pradesh Library Association (U.P.L.A.), Lucknow Branch, in collaboration with the Central Body. After a 25-year hiatus, the newsletter was relaunched in 2025 in both print and digital formats.
Purpose
The newsletter aims to serve as a professional platform for documenting and disseminating the achievements and initiatives of libraries and Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals across Uttar Pradesh, while also highlighting developments at the national and international levels.
